These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Bakfleet fleet management platform and related services. By creating an account, accessing or using Bakfleet, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the service.
Bakfleet provides a cloud-based fleet management platform designed to assist organisations with managing vehicles, drivers, inspections, defects, maintenance records, compliance activities and related operational information.
Features and functionality may be updated, modified, added or removed as the platform develops.
The customer is responsible for:
Bakfleet provides software tools intended to support fleet management and compliance processes. The use of Bakfleet does not guarantee compliance with any transport, road safety, employment or regulatory obligations.
The customer remains solely responsible for ensuring that vehicles, drivers, operators and operations comply with all applicable laws, regulations, operator licence requirements, maintenance obligations and safety standards.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that users keep their login credentials secure. Users must not share accounts or allow unauthorised individuals to access the service.
Bakfleet may suspend access to accounts where there is suspected unauthorised access, security risk or misuse.
Bakfleet aims to provide a reliable and continuously available service. However, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
Maintenance, upgrades, security updates, technical failures or events outside our reasonable control may result in temporary interruptions.
The customer retains ownership of the information they submit to Bakfleet.
By using the service, the customer grants Bakfleet the rights necessary to store, process, transmit and back up that information for the purpose of providing the service.
All software, designs, branding, documentation and intellectual property relating to Bakfleet remain the property of Bakfleet or its licensors.
Customers are granted a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the platform in accordance with these Terms.
Users must not:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bakfleet shall not be liable for indirect, consequential or business losses, including loss of profits, revenue, business interruption, loss of data or reputational damage.
Bakfleet does not accept responsibility for decisions made by users based on information, reminders or reports generated by the platform.
Customers are responsible for maintaining independent procedures to ensure compliance with legal obligations, including vehicle maintenance, inspections and safety checks.
Bakfleet implements reasonable measures to protect customer data. However, customers should maintain copies of critical information where appropriate.
While backup procedures may be implemented, no system can guarantee protection against every possible event, including cyber attacks, hardware failures or events beyond reasonable control.

Customers may request closure of their account in accordance with applicable agreements and data protection requirements.
Bakfleet may update the service and these Terms from time to time. Where significant changes are made, customers will be notified through appropriate channels.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
