A Different Approach to Fleet Management

I've spent over 10 years working in the transport industry, gaining experience across different roles, operations and fleet management systems.

Over that time, I've used a variety of platforms to manage vehicles, drivers, compliance, maintenance and day-to-day transport operations. Each system had things I liked, things I didn't, and features that could have worked a lot better.

Eventually, I decided to put that experience together and build something of my own.

Why Bakfleet?

Bakfleet is essentially my take on fleet management software. It's built around the things I've found genuinely useful in transport, combined with ideas and improvements I'd always wanted to see in the systems I'd previously used.

The aim isn't to make transport management more complicated. It's to make everyday tasks easier, keep information in one place, and give operators something practical that actually works for them.

Bakfleet is currently a one-person project. From development and design through to improvements and new features, everything is driven by my own experience and the problems I'm trying to solve.

That also means Bakfleet isn't finished. It's constantly evolving, with new ideas, improvements and features being developed as the platform grows.

I'm building Bakfleet the way I believe transport software should be built: with real industry experience behind it, practical thinking, and a genuine understanding of how transport businesses operate.
